About the Role: Onfy is a German pharmacy marketplace on a mission to innovate health support online. We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our agile team. You will own complex technical areas, make strong architectural decisions, and actively contribute to product discussions to make our app more advanced, reliable, and engaging.
What You'll Do
- Develop and evolve the Android project architecture using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Design client-side APIs and seamless integrations with backend services.
- Build and improve product features in checkout, payments, delivery, and post-purchase experiences.
- Participate in product discussions, feature design, and experiment launches.
- Maintain code quality through modularization and automated tests while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What You Bring
- Strong experience with Android development, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience building client-server applications and working with Kotlin Coroutines.
- Solid understanding of Gradle and modularized project structures.
- A product-oriented engineering mindset with the ability to design maintainable architectures.
- Bonus: Experience with iOS or web development, and professional use of AI coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
