Senior Accountant

About the Role: Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users. We are looking for a collaborative Senior Accountant to play a critical role in strengthening key areas of Docker's accounting operations, including the procure-to-pay process, monthly and quarterly close, and financial reporting activities within a fast-paced SaaS environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist with the monthly and quarterly close process, including preparation of financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools to streamline accounting processes and improve close cycle efficiency.
• Develop and implement accounting policies to ensure compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations.
• Collaborate with external auditors to provide support for the annual audit and reviews.
• Support the Accounting Manager with special projects, ad hoc analysis, and cross-functional collaborations.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with a mix of public accounting and industry experience in a SaaS environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial reporting and close processes.
• Experience with financial systems including ERP (Netsuite), Numeric, Zip, Navan, and/or similar systems.
