About the Role: Workana is one of the largest remote talent platforms in Latin America. We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to help expand our client portfolio in the U.S. and Canada. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional experienced in selling IT staffing, staff augmentation, or nearshore software development outsourcing to North American companies.

What You'll Do

  • Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise clients by generating new business through outbound sales, referrals, and strategic prospecting.
  • Identify client hiring needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for our recruiting and delivery teams.
  • Manage the full commercial cycle, from initial discovery and proposals to negotiation, onboarding, and long-term account growth.
  • Expand existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new hiring or outsourcing opportunities.
  • Partner with internal recruiting and operations teams to ensure high delivery standards, client satisfaction, and retention.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, business development, or sales within IT staffing, staff augmentation, or software development outsourcing.
  • Proven ability to generate new leads and open new accounts without relying on inbound lead flow.
  • Strong existing network or book of client relationships with companies needing nearshore LATAM talent.
  • Track record of owning revenue, managing client relationships, and scaling accounts through expansion.
  • Ability to build trust with senior stakeholders (founders, executives, talent/technology leaders).
