Position Overview

We are seeking a highly sophisticated, technically minded Senior Account Executive - Strategic Sales to join our elite Strategic Accounts team in a full-time remote capacity within the United States. In this high-stakes, consultative enterprise revenue seat, you will claim absolute ownership over developing, expanding, and closing multi-million-dollar contract partnerships within the MedTech, Aerospace, and Robotics sectors. Moving far beyond traditional capacity sales, you will run complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, earning credibility across engineering validation, centralized procurement, supply chain logistics, and corporate legal departments. This role demands a seasoned deal orchestrator who can discuss precise manufacturing tolerances smoothly, apply rigorous framework discipline, and spend over 50% of their time traveling to interface directly with Fortune 500 decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Architecture: Formulate and execute comprehensive account plans for high-potential targets, mapping decentralized engineering demand, corporate business units, and cross-functional expansion paths.
  • Multi-Stakeholder Opportunity Progression: Identify core manufacturing bottlenecks across prototyping, low-volume production, and New Product Introduction (NPI) tracks, driving deals past procurement scrutiny and legal reviews.
  • Technical Requirement Translation: Evaluate customer blueprint requirements across CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and additive manufacturing, converting tolerances and materials into distinct total cost of ownership (TCO) value.
  • Cross-Functional Deal Orchestration: Coordinate tightly with internal applications engineering, operations, global sourcing, quality assurance, and executive leadership cells to design, sell, and deliver scalable enterprise agreements.
  • C-Suite Relationship Building: Develop deep, trusted professional bonds with VP- and C-level leaders in engineering, product development, and operations, leveraging early transactional wins to displace incumbent suppliers across global divisions.
  • Commercial Negotiation & Closing: Author pricing strategies, compile tailored business cases, structure Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and lead complex enterprise negotiations to guarantee strategic profitability.
  • Pipeline & Forecast Discipline: Maintain a qualified sales pipeline and accurate forecasts within our CRM, utilizing rigorous qualification criteria to isolate execution risks early.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of verified professional history running enterprise B2B sales, industrial account management, technology consulting, or technical product delivery.
  • 5+ years of direct experience selling complex technical solutions, engineering services, or manufacturing software into strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Proven commercial track record closing and expanding six- and seven-figure annual contract value (ACV) options in a long-cycle, consultative sales environment.
  • Strong, functional understanding of precision manufacturing workflows, with a capacity to discuss tolerances, raw materials, DFM (Design for Manufacturability) criteria, and inspection standards.
  • Deep command over modern enterprise sales methodologies and deal qualification structures, such as MEDDICC, Challenger Sales, or Command of the Message.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication mechanics, with a demonstrated ability to translate engineering metrics smoothly into corporate business value.
  • Location & Mobility Context: Full-time remote parameters open exclusively to qualified sales professionals permanently located within supported US states, with a rigid expectation to spend over 50% of your time traveling out of the office for direct customer alignment.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering, industrial technology, or an equivalent quantitative technical discipline.
  • Prior experience displacing conservative incumbent suppliers or introducing digital platform operating models into traditional supply chain groups.
  • Direct network connections or prior history selling high-performance hardware components to enterprise aerospace, medical device, robotics, or automotive manufacturers.
