The Role: As a Sales Development Representative at Mura, you will be the engine behind our growth. You aren't just following a script; you are helping build the machine. We are looking for a high-performing "Founding SDR" who can help us define our outbound strategy, experiment with different lead sources, and identify the most effective ways to reach decision-makers in the commercial HVAC space.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Strategy: Identify and prospect high-quality B2B leads within the commercial HVAC and field service sectors.
- Outbound Execution: Execute high-volume outreach via cold calling, email sequences, and LinkedIn to qualify businesses and book meetings.
- Funnel Optimization: Collaborate with founders to refine the sales pitch, iterate on lead-building strategies, and improve conversion rates.
- CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities and lead data to ensure a seamless handoff to the closing team.
- Market Intelligence: Gather and share feedback from prospects to help the product team understand customer pain points and objections.
Qualifications
- Proven Track Record: Experience in B2B lead generation or sales, ideally within a technical or service-oriented sector (lending, SaaS, or e-commerce).
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to not just "follow a list," but to think critically about lead quality and outbound strategy.
- Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; comfortable navigating gatekeepers and engaging with business owners.
- Resilience & Grit: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and views "no" as a step toward "yes."
- Self-Starter: Proactive in managing KPIs and reports, with a focus on continuous improvement and coaching.
