Job Description

About the Role: Join our mission to make quality mental healthcare accessible to every student who needs it. At Daybreak Health, you'll be part of a movement dedicated to removing barriers to care and empowering young people to thrive emotionally and mentally. We're seeking compassionate, licensed mental health clinicians to provide teletherapy to students ages 11-24 throughout California. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while working alongside schools, families, and community partners to help students thrive.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Foster strong, supportive relationships with students to create a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Provide evidence-based individual teletherapy to students ages 11–24 experiencing mild-to-moderate mental health conditions.
  • Provide psychoeducation to parents/caregivers.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional with LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP credentials in the State of California.
  • Passion for youth mental health: Demonstrated commitment to providing culturally responsive, equitable care.
  • Experience working with teens and youth ages 11-24 in clinical or school settings.
  • Comfortable with telehealth: Experience providing telehealth services.
  • Please note: This role is open to fully licensed clinicians only; associate and provisionally licensed clinicians are not eligible.

Employment Options & Benefits

  • W-2 Part-Time Position: $55,000–$115,000 annually with reliable bi-weekly pay. Includes Medical, dental, and vision coverage, 60 hours of PTO, 11 paid holidays, and 4 mental health days.
  • 1099 Independent Contractor Position: $70–$85 per session, plus guaranteed pay for no-shows and late cancellations. Flexible caseload (minimum of 5 sessions per week).
  • All Roles: Fully remote (work from anywhere in the U.S.), flexible schedule, administrative support, and professional development.
