Registered Dietitian (Obesity Care & Diabetes Management)

Vida Health is a virtual, personalized obesity care provider trusted by Fortune 100 companies. We are seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide virtual Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and Diabetes Self-Management Education. In this role, you will work within a coordinated care team to help members manage obesity, diabetes, and cardiometabolic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Counseling: Provide virtual Medical Nutrition Therapy and counseling via video calls and messaging to drive lasting behavior change.
• Condition Management: Manage a panel of clients seeking to prevent or manage chronic conditions (Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity).
• Motivational Interviewing: Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to support health outcomes and wellness.
• Collaboration: Partner with physicians, therapists, and health coaches to provide a seamless, whole-person care experience.
• Compliance: Maintain strict HIPAA confidentiality and accurate documentation using Vida’s provider platform.

Requirements (Must Have)

• Licensure: Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical or community setting.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Dietetics or a related field.
• Location: Must be authorized to work in the US and reside in a state where Vida is registered. No International Work or Visa Sponsorship..
• Availability: Must commit to 4-hour working blocks between 8 AM - 8 PM (M-F) and 8 AM - 12 PM (Sat) in your time zone.

Preferred Qualifications

• CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) certification.
• Obesity and Weight Management Certification.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
