Job Description

About the Role: MariaDB is uniquely positioned as the leading database for modern application development. We are seeking a driven Regional Sales Manager to lead the acquisition and renewal business in the enterprise market in South Korea. You will execute a customer-centric sales strategy to drive revenue growth and new customer acquisition.

What You'll Do

  • Meet or beat your Annual Sales Quota of $1 million USD+.
  • Identify, nurture, and win net new enterprise sales opportunities while managing renewals.
  • Navigate complex sales processes by applying customer-centric selling and MEDDPICC methodologies.
  • Maintain an accurate, robust pipeline and forecast of business opportunities in Salesforce.com.
  • Develop account plans to retain and grow existing client revenue.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of consultative sales experience (Database/data management sales experience is strongly preferred).
  • A track record of meeting or beating $1 million USD per annum sales quotas.
  • Proven ability to manage large enterprise opportunities and close complex sales cycles.
  • Korean & English language fluency (verbal & written) is required.
  • Bonus: Experience selling open-source/cloud software solutions and familiarity with MEDDICC/MEDDPICC.
