Position Overview

We are seeking a high-agency, commercially dominant Regional Sales Director to join our Northern Europe enterprise software sales organization. Reporting directly to the Regional VP of Sales for BENELUX, you will take absolute leadership and management ownership of a dedicated squad of Enterprise Account Executives (EAEs) operating across the Netherlands. Moving beyond passive supervision, you will act as a strategic player-coach to drive net-new logo acquisition, build deep customer empathy, and accurately forecast multi-tier monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline movements. This hybrid track demands a battle-tested cybersecurity leader who can seamlessly sync with indirect channel partners and scale regional GTM strategies under a high-accountability framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Sales Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and develop an elite team of Enterprise Account Executives, fostering a high-performance culture that actively embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).
  • Pipeline & Forecast Governance: Maintain absolute forecasting data accuracy across monthly, quarterly, and annual horizons, while mapping out proactive personal development plans for each sales representative.
  • Value Proposition Engineering: Address complex enterprise security bottlenecks by articulating Zscaler’s unique cloud-native Zero Trust value vectors cleanly to C-suite technical leaders.
  • Channel & Partner Sponsorship: Serve as the primary executive sponsor for key regional channel partners, including Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and distribution networks, to co-architect joint pipeline-generation plays.
  • Cross-Functional GTM Alignment: Partner tightly with internal Product Marketing, Product Management, Demand Generation, and cross-functional engineering branches to eliminate friction loops throughout the sales cycle.
  • Strategic Net-New Expansion: Drive long-term business transformations by coaching representatives on strategic account planning and navigating complex enterprise contract closures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of verified professional history leading high-performing Enterprise sales or Go-To-Market teams specifically within the software or cybersecurity industries.
  • A proven, reference-backed track record of consistently over-achieving personal and team quotas against multi-million dollar annual sales targets.
  • Deep operational experience co-selling and building strategic agreements alongside VARs, system integrators, and international distribution channels.
  • Demonstrated capability to source, recruit, interview, and scale top-tier corporate software sales talent.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation communication mechanics, optimized to lead constructive, high-stakes executive-level debates.
  • Location Context: Hybrid/remote operational framework geofenced exclusively to qualified sales directors permanently living within the Netherlands.

  • Proficiency in macro sales strategy frameworks and complex, long-cycle business transformation consulting.
  • Prior history leading high-growth cloud security expansion initiatives across the wider BENELUX or Northern European commercial regions.
