Quality Assurance Specialist (Contract)

About the Role: Brainbox Automations is looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed QA Specialist to own quality across everything we ship on web and mobile. You'll be the last line of defense before our work reaches clients and users, working closely with developers, PMs, and designers to catch issues early and make sure every release meets a high bar.

What You'll Do

• Test web applications and mobile apps (iOS and Android) across client projects and in-house products.
• Write clear, reproducible test cases and maintain test documentation.
• Execute functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Report bugs with precise reproduction steps, screenshots, and logs using tools like Jira, Linear, or ClickUp.
• Verify fixes and sign off on releases before they ship to clients or production.

What You Bring

• Hands-on manual QA experience across both web and mobile platforms.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and cross-browser testing.
• Comfortable testing on real devices and emulators for both iOS and Android.
• Sharp attention to detail, clear written communication, and a curious, user-first mindset.
• Bonus: Experience testing AI-powered products, exposure to analytics tools, or familiarity with test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright).
