Python Software Developer (Remote)

Dewaele Real Estate Group, an innovative and technology-driven company based in Belgium, is looking for a Python Software Developer. You will work on an application stack consisting of internal and external applications for both agents and customers. Our stack is cloud-native, built around containerized microservices that are built, tested, and deployed in a highly automated manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Develop and maintain scalable applications using Python as the main language.
• Cloud Architecture: Work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Docker containers in a microservices architecture.
• Automation: Implement best practices like Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Autonomy: Take responsibility and work independently in a fully remote environment with flexible hours.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of experience using Python as a main development language.
• Tools: Experience with Git is required.
• Communication: Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Soft Skills: Hands-on, self-motivated, quality-focused, and able to work independently.
• Availability: A decent overlap with the UTC+2 timezone is required.

Nice to Have

• Frameworks: Experience with Django Framework.
• Frontend: Knowledge of frontend technologies like Vue.js and HTML5.
• Infrastructure: Working experience with Docker, containers, and AWS.
