Job Description

Asana is seeking a Public Sector Channel Manager to support their Public Sector and Education ecosystem, with a specific focus on their recently launched FedRAMP offering, AsanaGov. In this role, you will drive end-to-end Public Sector Partner recruitment, working with key contract holders and Federal System Integrators (FSIs) to drive pipeline growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • FSI Relationships: Build and own relationships with priority federal SIs such as GDIT, Booz Allen, and Raytheon.
  • Strategic Growth: Own the Public Sector vertical for the AMER channel team and drive the channel strategy for all Public Sector partnerships.
  • Distributor Management: Manage a cohesive sell-through model between FSIs, Carahsoft (key distributor), and the Public Sector sales team.
  • Pipeline Generation: Work with Account Executives and internal teams to drive pipeline and help close opportunities.
  • SLED Expansion: Grow Asana’s partner motion supporting the SLED (State, Local, and Education) business in NAMER.

Requirements

  • Experience: Experience within the SaaS software industry and the FSI partner community.
  • Gov Con Knowledge: Knowledgeable of government contracting and the sales process.
  • Location: Must be commutable to the Washington, D.C. metro area to attend partner meetings.
  • Recruitment: Experience recruiting, activating, and managing partners in the Public Sector.
  • Distributor Experience: Familiarity with distributors; specifically, experience collaborating with Carahsoft is a strong plus.

  • Security Clearance: Preferred but not required if you have a deep understanding of the market and stakeholders.
