Job Description
The role
The Raspberry Pi Foundation is strengthening its operations in Kenya. Working closely with the Programme Manager, Kenya, the Programme Coordinator will be responsible for supporting computing education partnerships and programmes in schools and community settings, such as the Computing Curriculum, educator professional development, Code Clubs and Experience AI, ensuring our work is effectively planned, organised and executed.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail orientated and capable of managing projects, business processes and communications with key stakeholders. Previous involvement with Code Clubs and/or experience of working with government education or NGO partnerships would be a significant advantage.
You don’t need to be an expert in computing, or digital making, but you do need to bring a passion for our mission and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
- Desk-based research to support the identification of mission-aligned potential partners in Kenya based on set criteria
- Support the grant management process and partner selection, due diligence and contracting including document checks and payment processing
- Provide end-to-end support for assigned partners, supporting them to meet their partnership deliverables and outcomes and overcome challenges
- Build the Kenya partner, educator and Code Club community including recommending ways we can better support the community collaborating cross functionally to implement improvements
- Coordinate partner and project activities and launches including organising training, timeline management and responding to queries
- Collaborate with the wider team to deliver training and resources that enhance the engagement of partners
- Coordinate the Kenya salesforce and project management boards reporting partner progress and risks, supporting clubs verification and safeguarding checks and recommending process improvements
- Organise the logistics of marketing and events material and support partners to provide content for social media and newsletters
- Represent the Foundation’s work in Kenya

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional project management skills, including event organisation
- Highly organised with a track record of collaboration across organisations, attention to detail and effective administration
- Good data and analytical skills, and the ability to use data effectively to improve what we do
- Experience in coordinating education programmes or partnerships, with computing education experience preferred
- Willingness to travel within Kenya and internationally occasionally with overnight stays when necessary
- A commitment to the Foundation's mission and values, including on diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Experience with onward grant management preferred
