We are looking for a Product Manager, Activity to join our team. You will play a key role in defining and delivering the Oura movement and activity experience - including the accuracy of our tracking algorithms and workout experience. In this role, you will collaborate closely with data science, engineering, firmware, hardware, design and other teams to shape the vision of activity.

What you will do:

  • Co-create a long-term vision for activity tracking within Oura, including algorithms and new UX experiences that support our members during the workout moment.
  • Collaborate with scientists and designers to translate innovative research into user-friendly consumer features.
  • Work with the hardware product team to define new sensor and technology needs, as well as opportunities to leverage existing sensors for new features.
  • Work with developers to prototype, launch, and iterate on features that help users monitor their health.
  • Support the translation of product strategy into clear requirements, acting as a liaison between leadership and your team.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders across the organization to ensure transparency in product development.
  • Partner with marketing teams to define strategies for launching new features.
  • Analyze data with data scientists to assess feature success and identify opportunities for improvement.

This is a remote US role. We have offices in San Francisco and San Diego for those who prefer hybrid or office settings. Oura employees in other major cities (like Boston and New York) occasionally gather informally at local co-working locations.

Requirements

We would love to consider you for this role if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in consumer app product management, including defining, building and scaling new features. Consumer health technology is a plus.
  • Experience working with data science, AI, or ML principles and their application in product development.
  • Familiarity working with hardware and firmware teams to deliver connected software experiences.
  • Strong business orientation, cross-functional approach, and communication skills to accelerate development and connect product strategy to business impact.
  • Experience building iteratively, applying analytical rigor and using data to inform product decisions.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across different time zones

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Region 1 $151,300 - $178,000
  • Region 2 $138,000 - $163,000
  • Region 3 $127,500- $150,000
