Product Manager

About the Role: mx51 is a payments-as-a-service solution for banks, non-bank acquirers, and other merchant service providers. We are looking for a Product Manager to act as the voice of our products to the tenants who depend on them. This is a "run role" where you will understand tenant business problems, translate needs into clear requirements, and keep tenants informed, enabled, and supported at all times.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary product point of contact for a portfolio of bank and acquirer tenants, managing escalations with clear communication.
• Engage tenants to uncover and document product requirements, translating real-world pain points into structured briefs and user stories.
• Develop deep knowledge of the mx51 platform to act as the go-to resource for configuration options and integration patterns.
• Own tenant-facing documentation including user guides, release notes, and configuration references.
• Act as a product SME during tenant onboarding, UAT, go-live activities, and pre-sales support.

What You Bring

• Product Management or Technical Account Management experience in B2B SaaS or payments.
• Solid understanding of the payments landscape including acquiring, EFTPOS, and payment flows.
• Proven ability to gather, structure, and communicate requirements from client engagements.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with senior bank stakeholders and engineers.
• Agile experience with Jira proficiency (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria).
