Product Designer II

Genea is a leader in cloud-based property technology, powering over 1 million users across 39 countries. They provide solutions for physical security, submeter billing, and HVAC automation. As a Product Designer II, you will own features from conception to launch. This is not just a UI role; you will leverage visual design excellence while expanding capabilities in UX research, prototyping, and systems thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Design: Manage the entire design lifecycle, from research and user flows to high-fidelity UI.
• Visual Systems: Design sophisticated visual systems including typography, color, iconography, and micro-interactions.
• Design System Ops: Contribute components and patterns to the design system with documentation (Must know Auto-Layout/Variants).
• Collaboration: Partner with engineers to provide detailed specs and handle edge cases.
• Research: Lead user research, usability tests, and journey mapping.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of product design experience with a portfolio of shipped features.
• Figma Mastery: Strong proficiency in Figma, specifically Advanced Auto-Layout, Components, and Variants.
• AI Adoption: Ability to apply AI tools while maintaining human-centered judgment (This is a modern requirement).
• Accessibility: Experience designing for accessibility and responsive layouts.
• Soft Skills: Ability to present design rationale clearly and facilitate workshops.

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of Motion Design or Front-end Development.
