Position Overview
We are seeking a highly talented, highly technical Producer-Editor to join our core Live Production team. In this versatile post-production role, you will take ownership of designing high-quality on-air broadcast elements, engineering complex motion graphics, and rendering nonlinear video compositions. This position features a dynamic operational layout split between work-from-home assignments and on-site support at live broadcast venues in Bloomington, IL, and event patches nationwide. Working inside a tight-turnaround, high-volume production environment, you will collaborate with multiple producer squads to cut show opens, troubleshoot real-time graphics bugs, and manage multimedia data assets securely.
Key Responsibilities
- Nonlinear Video Editing Execution: Edit high-engagement broadcast show opens, event content blocks, and promotional marketing materials natively within Adobe Premiere Pro under tight turnaround deadlines.
- Broadcast Motion Design: Program and composite advanced on-air motion elements, animated logos, overlays, and transitions utilizing Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
- On-Site Broadcast Support: Travel to major national sporting events to execute live production operations, stepping into on-site positions such as Graphics Operator or Graphics Producer.
- Multimedia Asset Gathering: Lead on-site field production operations, performing multi-camera videography, action photography, field lighting setup, and professional audio recording.
- Graphics Engine Troubleshooting: Calmly, logically, and efficiently research and isolate live broadcast graphics bugs and streaming glitches under live, fast-paced processing pressures.
- Operator Pool Training: Develop, mentor, and train a dedicated talent pool of local and remote graphic operators on technical configuration routines leveraging CharacterWorks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional history operating as a video editor, broadcast designer, or post-production engineer within studio or sports media networks.
- Advanced, master-tier command over Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop for asset creation and video composition.
- Foundational background or formal education in video production, multimedia storytelling, camera work, lighting architectures, and non-linear audio mixing.
- Proven capacity to manage competing projects and execute pixel-perfect deliverables within highly demanding, fast-moving turnaround intervals.
- Outstanding cross-functional collaboration and communication mechanics, built to interface seamlessly with remote software teams and on-site field coordinators.
- Location Context: Flexible full-time remote parameters open to qualified creators based anywhere within the United States, with full personal readiness to travel on-site for broadcast events when necessary.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior commercial history handling racing video production, with a comprehensive understanding of motorsports storylines and athletic data presentation formats.
- Functional operational knowledge of CharacterWorks or adjacent real-time television character generation software engines.

- Highly competitive compensation metrics paired with eligibility for annual Equity Awards tailored for top performance indicators.
- Recognized repeatedly as a Top Workplace, offering total schedule flexibility to balance personal and professional timelines.
- Participation in annual collaborative corporate all-hands events hosted at our major technology center in beautiful Austin, Texas.
- Comprehensive health protections encompassing premium medical, dental, and vision coverages, plus company-paid short-term and long-term disability parameters.
