Privacy Response Analyst II

About the Role: Discord is used by over 200 million people every month. Discord's Privacy team handles the user-facing side of privacy at scale. We are seeking a Privacy Response Analyst II for a 5-month temporary position to manage a steady volume of incoming privacy requests, support investigation workflows, and serve as an escalation point for BPO contractors.

What You'll Do

• Handle privacy complaints submitted by users, working from established intake and response workflows.
• Support investigations into user claims by gathering relevant account information and summarizing findings.
• Serve as the escalation point for BPO contractors handling initial queue triage.
• Assist in preparing supporting materials for regulatory inquiries and responses to data protection authorities.
• Maintain queue tracking and case documentation to ensure clear visibility into status and volume.

What You Bring

• 1.5+ years of experience in trust and safety, legal response, privacy operations, or a similar high-volume case-handling role.
• Strong ability to follow established playbooks and handle sensitive user data discreetly.
• Clear, concise written communication and strong attention to detail.
• Comfort working independently on well-defined workflows.
• Bonus: Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, or other data protection frameworks, and experience overseeing BPO teams.
