Podcast Editor (Corporate Content Team)

Las Vegas Petroleum, an active operator of convenience stores and travel centers in the Las Vegas Metro area, is expanding its content production team. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Podcast Editor to transform raw audio recordings into polished, high-quality episodes that highlight our brand and engage our audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Audio Editing: Edit recorded podcast episodes for clarity, pacing, and engagement, removing unnecessary content and enhancing audio quality.
• Sound Design: Add music, sound effects, and other audio elements to enhance the overall production quality.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with hosts and producers to understand their vision and content goals for each episode.
• Post-Production: Ensure all audio files are properly organized, archived, and refined based on team feedback before release.
• Strategy: Stay informed about industry trends and podcasting best practices to continuously improve the production process.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in audio editing with a solid portfolio of previous podcast or audio work.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in audio editing software such as Adobe Audition, Audacity, or similar tools.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of audio production processes, including recording, editing, and post-production workflows.
• Storytelling: Ability to craft a cohesive narrative and enhance the listening experience through skilled editing techniques.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent communication for collaboration.
