Platform Engineer - Multicloud

About the Role: Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our Compute Team to help build cloud-portable infrastructure. You'll work closely with product and infrastructure teams to audit the current platform for cloud-specific dependencies and design for portability across multiple cloud environments.

What You'll Do

• Audit existing infrastructure components to identify cloud-specific dependencies and build an actionable migration backlog.
• Design and implement cloud-agnostic abstractions over compute, networking, and storage layers.
• Maintain and evolve our Kubernetes-based workload orchestration to run portably across cloud environments.
• Contribute to architecture decisions around target cloud environments and colocated infrastructure options.

What You Bring

• 3-5+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with Kubernetes and comfortable running it across multiple environments.
• Familiarity with Pulumi or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Experience with at least one cloud abstraction, portability, or re-platforming initiative.
