The Role
Reporting to the Head of People & Talent, this individual contributor role spans strategic business partnering, employee relations, and organisational effectiveness. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, coaching them through growth challenges and strengthening manager capability across the business.
What You'll Do
- Strategic Partnering: Translate commercial priorities into practical people strategies and support organisational design as we scale.
- Employee Relations: Lead complex ER matters end-to-end, providing guidance aligned with UK employment law and internal principles.
- Leadership Development: Own and evolve manager training frameworks, tools, and learning initiatives that drive team performance.
- Performance & Culture: Shape practical performance approaches that drive accountability and act as a steward of ZOE’s company culture.
- Data-Driven Insights: Identify trends and emerging people challenges using data to focus action where it has the greatest impact.
What You Bring
- Significant experience in HR/People Partnering roles within high-growth or scaling startups.
- Deep expertise in UK Employment Law and confidence handling sensitive employee relations matters.
- Proven ability to build leadership capability through hands-on coaching and development initiatives.
- Strong judgment and influencing skills to build trust quickly with senior stakeholders.
- A pragmatic, action-oriented approach that balances strategy with hands-on execution.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to thrive in ambiguity and pace.
