Payer Enablement Specialist

About the Role: Tava Health is an online mental health platform that partners with employers to provide accessible mental health resources. We are seeking a Payer Enablement Specialist to play a critical role in building and maintaining Tava's payer infrastructure. You will own payer configurations within our EMR, fee schedule management, and workflows that enable scalable payer operations.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain payer configurations within Tava's EMR and translate payer requirements into system logic.
• Manage fee schedules, validate contracted rates, and support accurate reimbursement.
• Maintain SOPs and Insurance Articles to reflect current workflows and leverage AI tools for documentation efficiency.
• Partner with Payer Operations, RCM, Product, and Payer Partnerships to support troubleshooting and system-related issues.
• Audit configurations and workflows to ensure accuracy, identifying opportunities to reduce manual work.

What You Bring

• Experience in operations, consulting, analytics, or strong analytical training through university coursework.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex systems.
• High attention to detail, a strong sense of ownership, and strong cross-functional communication skills.
• Comfort using modern tools (including AI) to improve workflows and efficiency.
• Bonus: Digital health experience, experience in high-growth environments, or familiarity with custom systems and rules engines.
