Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Newgen Developer to join our core centralized digital transformation team in a remote contract capacity based in India. Operating as a pivotal technical owner for our BFSI engagements, you will step up to claim individual strategic accountability for designing and implementing end-to-end BPM solutions powered by Newgen platforms. Shifting completely away from basic workflow patching, you will architect secure, high-throughput system integrations connecting modern Newgen engines directly to legacy Core Banking and Middleware networks. This position requires an enterprise engineering veteran with 5+ years of software development history who manages Newgen IBPS 4.x fluidly, models complex business rules smoothly natively using iForms, and codes robust middleware bridges utilizing Java, SOAP, and RESTful APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End BPM Workflow Architecture: Design, develop, configure, and implement comprehensive workflow solutions utilizing Newgen IBPS 4.x (or higher) to automate critical banking operations natively utilizing Backend system logic.
• Custom Application & UI Engineering: Develop, scale, and customize dynamic user interfaces and data-capture applications using Newgen iForms, Process Models, Business Rules, and internal Workflow Engines.
• Core Banking & Middleware Integration: Build, audit, and maintain secure integration components between Newgen platforms and disparate Core Banking/Middleware systems, orchestrating data exchanges via SOAP and REST APIs.
• Domain-Specific Process Configuration: Configure, execute, and manage complex operational workflow paths specifically tailored to BFSI domains, including Loan Origination, Servicing, Disbursements, and Customer Onboarding.
• Performance Optimization & Triage: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing historical workflows and active integration services to ensure maximum performance, load stability, and transactional scalability.
• Cross-Functional Functional Translation: Collaborate intimately alongside business analysts, enterprise solution architects, and core banking technical teams to accurately convert functional business requirements into precise technical design and implementation roadmaps.
• Quality Assurance & Deployment Support: Drive system integrity by participating actively in architecture alignment sessions, asynchronous code reviews, and providing uncompromised support for SIT, UAT, and live production deployments.
• Compliance & Security Governance: Ensure absolute adherence to enterprise banking security protocols, audit compliance mandates, and regulatory guidelines, maintaining thorough technical documentation and integration specifications throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of verified professional history running advanced software development, enterprise workflow automation, BPM solutions engineering, or banking systems integration.
• Deep, authoritative technical command of Newgen platforms, requiring explicit hands-on proficiency with **Newgen IBPS (4.x or above)** and Newgen iForms / BPM workflow development toolsets.
• Expert-tier capability writing integration bridges and connecting distributed software architectures natively utilizing Backend environments (specifically strong programming and debugging skills in Java / J2EE).
• Practical operational familiarity navigating cross-system data schemas natively using XML, JSON, Web Services, and advanced middleware integration concepts.
• Strong, proven experience executing Core Banking integration loops utilizing SOAP and RESTful APIs within high-security environments.
• Solid understanding of business processes within the BFSI domain, displaying specific fluency in Lending models, Loan Origination steps, and Customer Onboarding pipelines.
• Possession of a formal university Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
• Location Context & Engagement Model: Position open exclusively to qualified Newgen engineers based permanently and resident within **India** to operate under a 100% remote contract framework.

• Prior commercial BPM engineering history operating explicitly within a Tier-1 retail bank, enterprise loan processing center, or regulated financial technology (FinTech) corporation.
• Hands-on functional familiarity designing complex document management systems (DMS) workflows or enterprise content management (ECM) pipelines natively alongside Newgen toolsets.
• Familiarity with visual state-machine mapping, automated test script integrations, or continuous deployment mechanics in restricted banking networks.
