About Fanvue: Fanvue is a high-growth, AI-powered creator monetization platform generating over $200M+ in annual recurring revenue (ARR) with triple-digit year-on-year growth. Supporting hundreds of thousands of digital creators and millions of global fans, we protect our ecosystem by building state-of-the-art automated detection pipelines and high-velocity workflows. Fanvue was recognized as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025.
Role Mission
We are hiring a Moderation & Compliance Executive to protect platform integrity by reviewing user-generated content, investigating guideline violations, and making fast, fair decisions at scale. Content volume is rising fast, and while automated AI models handle low-risk items, this role handles high-risk grey-area choices where human judgment, context assessment, and systematic documentation matter most to keep our ecosystem safe and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Review & Enforcement: Review and action user-generated assets against Fanvue's community guidelines, working high-volume moderation queues prioritized by turnaround times and threat scores.
- Compliance Investigations: Diagnose strict Terms of Service (TOS) violations including explicit content policy breaches, identity impersonation rings, copyright/DMCA claims, and off-platform risks.
- Clean Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous decision logs, audit trails, and tag structures to support regulatory compliance reviews, corporate audits, and user appeal processes.
- Cross-Functional Escalation: Escalate edge cases smoothly to the Moderation Manager and Head of Trust & Safety with clear technical decision notes. Partner with internal Support and Creator squads on account restrictions.
- Pattern Recognition: Identify emerging risk patterns, fraudulent behaviors, or system loopholes, providing operational data feedback to product and engineering teams for tooling improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, or operational Compliance within UGC, social media, or digital platform ecosystems.
- Demonstrated capability to make rapid, principled, and fair decisions on ambiguous grey-area cases under minimal supervision.
- Clear written communication skills with high discretion and a calm approach when handling sensitive or high-risk material.
- Comfort utilizing modern operational software layouts including Slack, Notion, Intercom, and Retool (or equivalent platform dashboards).
- Adult Content Comfort: Must be absolutely comfortable and resilient reviewing adult-only (18+) explicit content consistently across daily queues.
- Location Scope: 100% remote working flexibility open to qualified professionals globally.
Preferred Strategic Assets
- Familiarity with global internet safety legal frameworks including the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), the Online Safety Act, and standardized DMCA counter-notice workflows.
- Experience refining internal operational systems (such as updating decision macro templates, tag models, or triage structures).
What We Offer
- An impactful role inside a rapidly building Trust & Safety function backed by strong automated engineering models and tight operational feedback loops.
- A fast-paced, high-ownership corporate culture built around absolute transparency and operational velocity.
- 100% remote autonomy within one of the officially named Best Places to Work.
