Model Audit Consultant

About the Role: Gridlines is a rapidly growing financial modelling consultancy practice helping clients make complex financial decisions quickly and with confidence. We are seeking an experienced Model Audit Consultant who is passionate about financial modelling and driven by growth. You will work with a team of modelling professionals to analyse and review complex financial models, ensuring they are robust and reliable.

What You'll Do

• Lead model audit assignments, ensuring models are arithmetically and commercially correct.
• Use a combination of software checks and parallel model development to identify modelling errors.
• Review commercial documentation and ensure it is reflected accurately in the financial model.
• Prepare comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies, and results.
• Train, motivate, and manage junior team members while communicating model findings effectively to clients.

What You Bring

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in a financial role within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting.
• Strong analytical skills with a foundation in building and operating financial models using Excel.
• A good appreciation of accounting concepts and a sound understanding of Project Finance concepts.
• Degree qualified in a numerate discipline.
• Bonus: Postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance and experience with the FAST financial modeling standard.
