Member of Technical Staff, Developer Relations Lead

About the Role: Runway is building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science. We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff, Developer Relations Lead who lives at the intersection of code and creativity. You will own the end-to-end developer experience, driving awareness, activation, and long-term engagement among creative technologists and engineers building on top of our generative model APIs.

What You'll Do

• Own the full developer funnel from awareness to activation, designing seamless API onboarding experiences.
• Build and nurture a community of creative technologists by running hackathons, sponsorships, and developer events.
• Produce high-quality tutorials, demos, sample repos, and technical walkthroughs showcasing generative video and image models.
• Surface developer sentiment, emerging use cases, and market signals back to Product and Engineering teams.
• Partner with Marketing and GTM to create developer-focused activation campaigns.

What You Bring

• 5+ years in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a highly technical, community-facing role.
• Deep, hands-on familiarity with generative video and image models, with the ability to experiment and build constantly.
• Strong engineering fundamentals; you can write code, build demos independently, and debug API integrations.
• A genuine creative sensibility to understand the needs of designers, filmmakers, and creative technologists.
• Experience running developer events and producing developer-facing content across various formats.

Benefits

• Base salary range: $220,000 – $270,000 per year.
