Member of Compliance, KYC (Crypto & Institutional Banking)

Anchorage Digital is the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions and home to Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., the first federally chartered crypto bank in the U.S.. Backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Goldman Sachs, and Visa, we are looking for a KYC Compliance Expert to shape the next generation of our institutional KYC program. You will play a substantial role in preventing, detecting, and mitigating financial crimes risk across our platform.

Key Responsibilities

• EDD Execution: Drive the execution of the Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) program, managing the caseload through efficient execution.
• Framework Development: Build a comprehensive KYC Compliance framework that supports business growth while ensuring strong risk management.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial crimes risk, conducting deep-dive investigations into complex cases.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate across KYC and Compliance teams to design processes that help Anchorage meet strategic goals.
• Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all operations align with BSA/AML and sanctions regulations for a federally chartered institution.

Requirements

• Compliance Experience: 5+ years of experience in BSA/AML KYC supporting a US financial institution.
• Crypto Native Skills: 2+ years of professional experience using blockchain analytics tools (specifically Chainalysis or TRM).
• Institutional Focus: 2+ years of experience conducting Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) specifically for institutional clients.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of BSA/AML and sanctions regulations.
• Mindset: A natural curiosity to untangle complex cases and a keen attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Certifications: Professional certifications in AML (e.g., CAMS) or blockchain analytics.
• Language: Fluency in Spanish is a plus ("Tú hablas español").
