Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Reference Management: Ensure absolute accuracy across citation fields, sourcing data assets, and properly annotating or highlighting reference documents for rigorous internal medical review boards.
  • Style Guide Enforcement: Maintain 100% adherence to complex corporate guidelines, client stylistic specifications, and standardized AMA or FDA procurement criteria.
  • Cross-Functional Data Design: Partner with internal design, illustrative, and creative teams to convert raw clinical figures and data points into visually compelling, scientifically precise graphics.
  • KOL and Stakeholder Alignment: Interface with medical experts, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and enterprise clients to present technical projects for formal evaluation, feedback collection, and iterative content changes.
  • Medical Guidance Ownership: Maintain an up-to-date repository of specialized scientific knowledge, serving as a reliable clinical guide for cross-functional project teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Possession of an **Advanced Academic Degree is required (e.g., MD, PhD, or PharmD)** within a hard-science or medical discipline.
  • Demonstrated technical ability to communicate multi-layered scientific frameworks clearly to both specialized clinical reviewers and non-specialist consumer audiences.
  • Familiarity navigating regulatory parameters, data disclosures, or style systems dictated by the **FDA, AMA, and similar enforcement boards**.
  • Advanced computer literacy, including hands-on experience handling citation managers, Microsoft Word formatting styles, and PowerPoint layouts.
  • Excellent structural prioritization, organizational discipline, and the capacity to deliver high-quality outputs under strict deadline pressures.
  • Location Context: Fully remote-first flexibility optimized for qualified candidates residing permanently anywhere within the United States.
  • Office Hub Integration (Real HART): Under our Real Hybrid and Regional Teams philosophy, practitioners located within an hour of an active corporate office (Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or Lambertville) participate in office coordination loops two days per week.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Up to 1 year of verified medical writing experience operating within a professional healthcare marketing or medical communications agency framework.
  • Track record of collaborating alongside multi-disciplinary layout artists, medical directors, and enterprise product managers.

  • The exceptional opportunity to directly author and influence the core communications collateral driving top-tier pharmaceutical product launches.
  • Comprehensive health insurance benefits, including premium medical, dental, and vision coverages.
  • Generous vacation policies, paid holidays, mental wellness coaching models, and full corporate access to over 13,000 professional tracks on LinkedIn Learning.
