Literature Specialist (AI Trainer)

Large Language Models (LLMs) are moving beyond simple chatbots; they are now being trained to analyze complex texts, interpret literary themes, and support academic scholarship. This company is looking for Literature Specialists and avid readers to act as AI Tutors. You will intentionally "break" the AI by challenging it with complex literary analysis, documenting its failure modes, and teaching it how to reason through classical literature, poetry, and modern fiction properly.

Key Responsibilities

• Red-Teaming the AI: Engage the model with complex literary passages, analytical questions, and interpretation tasks to test its limits.
• Fact & Logic Checking: Verify the factual accuracy, coherence, and depth of the AI's literary analysis.
• Error Tracing: Capture reproducible error traces when the model hallucinates or misinterprets a theme, authorial style, or historical context.
• Metacognitive Feedback: Provide structured feedback by explicitly articulating your own reasoning and interpretive steps (you must "show your work").

Requirements

• Subject Matter Expertise: Deep familiarity with classical literature, modern/contemporary fiction, poetry, drama, literary theory, and critical analysis.
• Communication Skills: Clear, metacognitive communication is essential. You need to explain how you arrived at an answer so the AI can learn the logic.
• Hardware: Must supply your own secure computer and high-speed internet.
• Education/Background: A degree in English, Literature, or Humanities is preferred, but teaching experience, editorial work, or just being a highly analytical reader is acceptable.
