Key Responsibilities

• High-Impact Editing: Create "kickass" videos covering diverse topics (from Kendrick Lamar analyses to tech interviews with Elon Musk).
• Motion Graphics: Utilize After Effects to create engaging visual elements; this role requires strong motion graphics and design skills, not just simple cutting.
• Data-Driven Iteration: Use YouTube retention charts and audience comments to refine edits and improve performance over time.
• Style Management: Create and review editing templates and manage style guides for various clients.
• Project Management: Manage your editing calendar via ClickUp, ensuring deadlines are met with minimal oversight.

Requirements

• Software Mastery: Deep understanding of Premiere Pro and After Effects is non-negotiable.
