Lead Full Stack Engineer (Vue.js / Node.js)

HighLevel is an AI-powered, all-in-one sales & marketing platform that empowers agencies and entrepreneurs. We operate at a massive scale, processing over 4 billion API hits and 2.5 billion message events every day. We are looking for a Lead Engineer to build highly scalable and resilient systems, specifically focusing on our lead capture tools (funnels, websites, forms).

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture: Architect and build backend & frontend APIs, creating solid interfaces for consuming them in user-friendly apps.
• Feature Development: Improve and create new lead capture domain models (funnels, surveys, social media tools).
• Performance: Drive performance through benchmarking and optimization across a network of over 250 microservices.
• Leadership: Be autonomous and guide other developers who might need technical help.
• Cross-Functional: Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to solve problems end-to-end.

Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in a full-stack environment.
• Core Stack: Proficient with JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js, Node.js, and GraphQL.
• Scale: Experience building highly scalable systems that can handle massive data loads (we manage 470 TB of data).
• Mindset: An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate a start-up environment and stitch together different services.
• Design Sense: A keen eye for design and user flows, with experience in HTML5 and CSS3.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Nuxt.js framework.
• MongoDB profiling and query optimization.
• Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and TailwindCSS.
