About the role:
You'll deliver care as part of a multidisciplinary team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Medical Assistants, delivering world-class care using a unique and innovative care model. You will manage a panel of patients primarily virtually while coordinating in-person care when required.
Additionally, you will supervise a team of APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care to patients to their patient panels.
You will report into the Medical Director, Virtual Primary Care.
Hours:
M-F 8a - 7p ET; no weekends
Work Location:
This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Note, this list of states is subject to change.
Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role is: $118,400 - $155,400 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (video, phone, messaging) while working with a multidisciplinary team
- Provide guidance to a group of APPs (NPs and PAs) who are delivering care in a virtual environment and provide professional & clinical growth
- Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team (APPs, RNs, MAs)
- Support development of clinical guidelines, continuous improvement of care model, and participate in collaborative projects with Operations and Product team members as a clinical leader.
- Be accountable for the quality of care of your patients
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have GA, TX, or FL license in good standing
- Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance, working with our licensing vendor
- Additional state licenses or willing to be licensed in additional Oscar OPC states, also in good standing
- DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program
- Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC)
- 5+ years of primary/urgent care experience
- 1+ year Experience delivering care in a community-based / in person setting
Bonus points:
- Spanish language fluency
- Prior telehealth experience
- 1+ years experience in supervising teams, including other clinical staff NP and PA supervision
- Experience being metric driven in a practice setting as it relates to population health management and/or, quality benchmarks, and productivity
