Position Overview

We are seeking a highly sophisticated, automation-minded IT Systems Engineer II to join our core global IT Operations division in a full-time, virtual-first remote capacity within India. In this critical infrastructure engineering seat, you will act as a primary operational bridge between distributed IT infrastructure, modern cloud platforms, and internal development squads to drive institutional excellence. Moving completely past manual device troubleshooting, you will claim individual accountability for designing, script-automating, and maintaining high-availability multi-cloud workflows and secure endpoint frameworks across our builder-driven brands. This high-agency role demands a seasoned DevOps practitioner who can confidently code Infrastructure as Code (IaC) files, manage production CI/CD deployment pipelines, optimize global cloud expenditures, and deliver stable, secure services in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Scalable Cloud Engineering: Design, manage, and optimize enterprise multi-cloud environments natively inside AWS and GCP, ensuring cost efficiency through strict FinOps alignment strategies.
• Advanced Scripting & Task Automation: Eliminate repetitive IT operations and administrative overhead loops by developing custom script automations written in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Construct, version, and expand reliable infrastructure layouts as software files utilizing state-of-the-art configuration registries like Terraform and Ansible (or CloudFormation).
• CI/CD Workflow Orchestration: Build, audit, and optimize robust continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines (utilizing Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions) to speed up application rollouts.
• Enterprise Platform Integration: Administer, connect, and support Tier 3-level escalations for corporate collaboration tools, including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and the Atlassian Suite.
• Identity & Access Governance: Enforce strict identity governance, access parameters, multi-factor credential requirements, and endpoint device management solutions across Linux and Windows AD directory systems.
• Security Control Implementation: Maintain corporate security controls, vulnerability patches, and configuration updates in strict alignment with compliance matrices such as SOC, GDPR, and ISO.
• Technical Documentation Mapping: Author, standardize, and circulate granular operational playbooks, pipeline blueprints, and technical training guidelines for distributed cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of verified professional history running advanced IT systems engineering, cloud-native administration, automation programming, or distributed DevOps lifecycle management.
• Hands-on technical expertise deploying and managing software resources across public cloud topologies (specifically AWS and/or GCP platforms).
• Strong, authoritative development skills in Python scripting, with a demonstrated asset history of utilizing it to build automated system integrations.
• Deep underlying technical literacy covering Linux kernel environments, Windows Active Directory architectures, data networking, and device monitoring interfaces.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication mechanics, with a proven ability to present clear technical software solutions to non-technical business stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related quantitative engineering branch.
• Location Context: Full-time virtual-first parameters open exclusively to qualified technical systems engineers permanently based anywhere within India.

• Possession of highly regarded professional vendor badging, such as AWS SysOps/DevOps Engineer or GCP Professional Cloud Engineer certifications.
• Practical experience configuring production monitoring architectures and dashboards natively using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Exposure to ITIL framework structures, cloud cost optimization practices, or agile backlog management systems.
• Prior background executing within distributed, remote-first or hybrid corporate scaling setups.
