iOS Software Engineer

About the Role: Reddit is a community of communities and one of the internet's largest sources of information. The Contributions team is responsible for Posting and Commenting. We are looking for an iOS Software Engineer to drive related technical & product strategy, architecture, and execution to ensure conversations remain simple, expressive, and modern on our platform.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
• Work cross-functionally to execute product strategy and build novel features our users will love.
• Review code and design docs, giving feedback on product specs and mocks.
• Help mentor engineers on the team to grow their technical expertise and recommend best practices.

What You Bring

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional software development experience building user-facing iOS mobile native applications at scale.
• Expertise in Swift (knowledge of Java, Python, Go, C++ is a bonus).
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices: unit/integration testing, CI/CD, A/B testing, and code reviews.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully remote environment.
• Bonus: Knowledge of GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, and API design.
