Job Description

About the Role: Callibrity is a custom software development consulting company dedicated to creating quality software. Our Interface & Interaction Designers are embedded craft partners, working alongside Product Consultants, stakeholders, and development teams to shape how users experience digital products. We don't just make things look good; we define how interfaces behave, how users navigate complexity, and how visual systems scale across teams and releases.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with Product Consultants during discovery, contributing a design perspective to research, usability sessions, and stakeholder conversations.
  • Execute visual and interaction design from early concepts through developer handoff.
  • Design and evolve design systems by contributing components, defining patterns, and ensuring coherence.
  • Create storyboards, mockups, and prototypes in Figma to communicate interaction ideas effectively.
  • Apply structured critique methods (heuristic review, cognitive walkthrough) and use service design tools (journey maps, blueprints).
  • Prepare design deliverables for developer handoff (redlines, annotations, specifications).

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in interface design, interaction design, UI design, or similar.
  • Experience designing digital products (web apps, native mobile, responsive web, desktop software).
  • Proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and design system management.
  • Strong understanding of color, typography, layout best practices, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a client-facing presence.
  • Bonus: Consulting/agency experience, advanced prototyping tools (ProtoPie, Axure), and hands-on HTML/CSS knowledge.

Benefits

  • Health, Vision, and Dental insurance effective your first day.
  • 401k match vested immediately and a Profit Sharing Bonus.
  • Annual professional development stipend ($1,500).
  • Paid parental leave, paid bench time, and generous PTO plus 8 holidays.

Safety First

  • Never pay for a job application.
  • Do not share sensitive bank info.
  • Verify the client before starting work.
