Job Description

Job Title: Intake Specialist

The Intake Specialist will be the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for gathering essential information, assessing client needs, and ensuring a smooth intake process. This role is crucial in helping our firm provide timely and effective legal assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for potential clients via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
  • Conduct thorough intake interviews to gather essential information about the client's financial situation and legal needs.
  • Assess the client's eligibility for bankruptcy and other debt relief options.
  • Schedule consultations with attorneys and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and available.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions and case details in the firm's case management system.
  • Provide clients with information about the bankruptcy process, required documentation, and next steps.
  • Follow up with potential clients to answer questions and provide additional information as needed.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure a seamless client intake process.
  • Stay informed about changes in bankruptcy law and procedures to provide accurate information to clients.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a legal setting USA, preferably in bankruptcy law, is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of bankruptcy law and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (English C1)
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using case management software and other office technology.
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
