Your mission is to bring their games to the next generation of platforms like Reddit, Discord, and whatever launches next. You will architect solutions that allow games to run smoothly across multiple platforms from a shared codebase, delighting tens of millions of players.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering: Develop new Instant Games and adapt existing titles for new platforms (e.g., integrating with Discord Activities or Reddit).
• Core Tech Stack: Write robust, maintainable code using TypeScript and PixiJS.
• SDK Integration: Integrate platform-specific SDKs and navigate certification processes.
• Performance Optimization: Deeply profile browser applications to reduce load times and bandwidth usage—critical for "Instant" games.
• Build Systems: Manage build pipelines using tools like Vite or Webpack.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Game Tech: Strong knowledge of PixiJS and TypeScript (This is a web-gaming role, not C#).
• Optimization: proficiency in optimizing browser applications (memory management, draw calls, bundle size).
• Legacy Code: Comfort diving into legacy codebases to improve them.
• Architecture: Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable, and tested code.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Unity WebGL builds (shows cross-engine understanding).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
