Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Admin to join our People team on a fixed term contract. This role will serve as the first point of contact for employee support through our Jira ticketing system, ensuring timely responses and accurate recordkeeping. You will play a critical role in supporting the employee lifecycle — from onboarding new hires to coordinating offboarding processes — while maintaining compliance and data accuracy across our HR systems.

What You Will Do

  • Jira Ticket Management: Monitor the People Team Jira queue daily, triaging, categorizing, and resolving employee inquiries.
  • Onboarding Coordination: Schedule onboarding sessions, initiate background checks, distribute contracts, and support new hire profile setup in Workday, Deel, and ADP.
  • Building processes and SOPs: Assess our employee-facing processes and look at how we can make them scalable.
  • AI Optimization: Use AI tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) to envision and plan ways of reducing manual effort for employee tickets.
  • Offboarding & Payroll Support: Process offboarding requests and create monthly reports to inform our payroll manager around any changes.
  • Data Management & Compliance: Maintain accuracy of employee records while adhering to privacy and confidentiality protocols.

About You

  • 3-6 years of experience in HR administration, People Operations, or a similar support role.
  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach to data management.
  • Comfortable working with HR systems such as Workday, ADP, or Jira.
  • Ability to build and test robust processes and use AI to augment workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
