Fullstack Ecommerce Developer

About the Role: IBMC is assisting a high-growth digital commerce firm in hiring a strategic Fullstack Ecommerce Developer. You will play a key role in building, optimizing, and scaling high-conversion stores—from custom theme development to complex backend integrations and headless commerce architectures.

What You'll Do

• Design and maintain advanced Shopify stores (Shopify Plus) using Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), and React.
• Build custom Shopify apps and seamless integrations with third-party services (ERP, CRM, PIM, and payment gateways).
• Implement and optimize headless architectures using Hydrogen + Remix/Oxygen or custom Next.js solutions.
• Develop robust backend solutions and middleware using Node.js or Ruby on Rails for complex data processing.
• Lead performance optimization, focusing on Core Web Vitals, SEO technical health, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

What You Bring

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer with a primary focus on the Shopify platform.
• Deep expertise in Liquid, Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL), and Shopify Theme architecture.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Node.js. Experience with Next.js or Hydrogen is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of integrating external systems via APIs and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Good command of English (written and spoken) for technical collaboration.
