Freelance Senior Python Developer (AI Projects)

Key Responsibilities

• Cross-Language Migration: Coordinate workflows by analyzing C, Rust, and Go codebases to create behavioral tests and migration stubs for Rust targets.
• Test Frameworks: Design and implement black-box functional test frameworks using pytest, uv, and Python 3.10 for native CLI projects.
• CI/CD & Docker: Build reproducible Docker evaluation images and CI pipelines (using Dagger/Codespaces), handling secure workspace setups.
• AI Evaluation: Apply professional judgment to assess and improve AI responses.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in software development with at least 5 years specifically in Python.
• Polyglot Reading Skills: Familiarity with C, Rust, and Go (or the confidence to read/analyze this code with LLM assistance).
• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Language: English proficiency (B2 level or higher).
• Availability: Reliable internet connection and ability to commit ~10-20 hours per week during active project phases.
