Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and creative Podcast Editor to lead the post-production process for high-quality, engaging podcasts for our roster of top creators. You will be responsible for turning raw recordings into polished, professional content that entertains and retains audiences. This role requires a "YouTube Native" editor who understands the pacing, storytelling, and quality required to succeed in the modern creator economy.

Key Responsibilities

• Hybrid Editing: Edit podcast audio and video episodes from raw recordings to fully polished content, ensuring high retention.
• Audio Engineering: Apply sound design, noise reduction, leveling, and mastering to create a clean listening experience.
• Video Production: Edit video versions for platforms like YouTube, utilizing multi-camera cuts and integrating branding elements.
• Repurposing: Assist with repurposing long-form podcast content into short-form clips (Shorts/Reels/TikToks) to maximize reach.
• Workflow: Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain organized project files in a remote environment.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of podcast post-production experience with a portfolio of successful/well-known shows.
• Creator Economy Mindset: You understand what makes a video a "1/10" and know how to cut for story, flow, and entertainment value.
• Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or Reaper (Audio) AND Premiere Pro (Video).
• Collaboration: Excellent communicator who can work with producers and hosts to ensure creative integrity.
