FP&A Analyst

About the Role: Route is the leading post-purchase platform for modern ecommerce. We are looking for a key Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) to be the primary engine behind our financial planning and operational analysis. You will own the entire P&L and influence the trajectory of our high-tech, private company while engaging cross-functionally to drive decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Act as the dedicated finance partner for department leads to drive cost efficiency gains and manage spend.
• Own, manage, and administer internal financial reporting, modeling, and forecasting tools (e.g., Adaptive, Vena).
• Facilitate the annual budgeting process and monthly rolling forecasts to align departmental spend with strategic goals.
• Analyze key financial KPIs (CAC, LTV, retention) and translate massive datasets into compelling narratives.
• Build complex, dynamic financial models to evaluate new market entries, product launches, and capital allocation strategies.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, Investment Banking, or Strategic Finance (Ecommerce or SaaS experience is a significant plus).
• Strong modeling skills and hands-on experience with FP&A platforms (Adaptive, Anaplan), BI tools (Tableau, Looker), and ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct).
• A builder mindset with the ability to build models from scratch and refine messy data.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
