Founding Engineer (Full Stack & AI Agents)

Questom is building the first true marriage of an AI communication platform and a state-of-the-art agentic workflow orchestration system. We are looking for a Founding Engineer to help build the core systems that power our AI agents for B2B sales. This is not a framework-specialist role; it is about systems thinking, ownership, and the ability to stitch together complex infrastructure into something that works—fast.

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Design and build high-performance systems that connect communication platforms (Voice, SMS, Email) with agentic workflows.
• Agentic Workflows: Create workflows where agents handle live conversations, pull context from CRMs (Salesforce), and log outcomes (HubSpot).
• End-to-End Ownership: Take ownership from design to shipping; turn half-baked ideas or rough customer requirements into 90% working solutions quickly.
• Scalability: Think deeply about how these systems scale across many customers with different data sources and configurations.
• Coding Agents: We rely heavily on coding agents and automation—curiosity and systems understanding matter more than syntax mastery.

Requirements

• Mindset: You must be extremely curious, highly independent, and comfortable operating without a map.
• Systems Thinking: Ability to connect dots across systems (APIs, workflows, agents) rather than just writing perfect code.
• Tech Stack: Familiarity with React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Next.js.
• Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity; you iterate fast and don't need clear specs or guardrails to do your best work.
• Experience: All levels welcome, including high-potential New Grads.
