Position Overview

We are seeking a highly resourceful, autonomous Forward Deployed Machine Learning Engineer who flawlessly blends advanced ML training capabilities with a hands-on technical capacity to test and optimize systems directly in the field. Operating as the essential technical face of our client inside high-stakes commercial environments, you will own the real-time computer vision inference pipelines end-to-end. This is an execution-focused deployment track demanding a software engineer who can build structural code wrappers around complex deep learning pipelines, optimize low-latency processing beds, and interface with on-premise GPU servers and distributed video streams.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Premise Model Deployment: Train, tune, adjust, and securely deploy deep learning and classical ML models directly onto client-side production networks.
• Low-Latency Pipeline Optimization: Maintain and monitor edge inference performance profiles utilizing frameworks like PyTorch, ONNX, TensorRT, and Triton Server.
• Data Pipeline Engineering: Build out comprehensive video data preprocessing, streaming ingestion layers, and QA/QC data labeling infrastructures in tandem with distributed data squads.
• Hardware & System Calibration: Coordinate directly with client surveillance engineers and distribution partners to set up and debug multi-camera streaming arrays and on-premise GPU cluster nodes.
• Cross-Functional Innovation: Collaborate tightly with on-site product managers to test, validate, and ship next-generation computer vision algorithms and Large Language Model (LLM) analytical features.
• DevSecOps & Troubleshooting: Maintain containerized environments, debug complex runtime pipeline latency dependencies, and streamline software wrapper services in live environments under minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of verified professional experience operating as a Machine Learning Engineer or Computer Vision Developer with a strong balance of both deep learning architectures and classical ML methodologies.
• Demonstrated tracking history constructing production-grade software services around raw model graphs inside live, fast-moving environments.
• Advanced operational command navigating Linux environments and containerization tools like Docker.
• High-agency startup mindset with the resourcefulness to operate fluidly across ML infrastructure, backend systems, and automated DevOps boundaries.
• Strong technical communication and presentation mechanics, comfortable engaging with enterprise client surveillance directors and external engineering teams.
• Location Context: 100% remote-first working infrastructure flexibility open to qualified machine learning professionals residing anywhere within Mexico, Brazil, or Colombia.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

• Direct production experience managing low-latency video streaming pipelines using GStreamer, FFmpeg, or RTSP streaming protocols.
• Hands-on familiarity with deep learning acceleration frameworks and inference engines (including **Triton Inference Server** and TensorRT model optimization logic).
