Role Summary

The Sales Engineering Automation & Forward Deployed Engineer is a high-leverage hybrid role designed to amplify pre-sales capacity across three focal areas: AI workflow automation engineering, client-facing integration development, and technical data modeling. This role accelerates time-to-value for strategic accounts by establishing core automation blocks and building robust dashboard visibility tracking alongside RevOps leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Workflow Engineering (40–45%): Architect and deploy lightweight generative AI automations to support sales pipelines, including automated call recaps, configuration assistants, RFP accelerators, and repeatable script models.
• Forward Deployed Engineering (30–35%): Partner with technical leaders at enterprise accounts to build API integrations, scheduled data synchronization workflows, and reference patterns around Restaurant365 ecosystems.
• GTM Data Modeling & Reporting (15–20%): Collaborate with RevOps to develop performance tracking data models linking technical wins to macro deal outcomes, constructing standard operational dashboards.
• Cross-Functional Feedback Loop (5–10%): Draft lightweight technical execution playbooks, productize repeatable integration blueprints, and deliver prioritized field requirements to core Product and Engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of customer-facing experience across Sales Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting.
• Proven ability constructing or deploying programmatic API integrations, automated business data streams, or microservices.
• Hands-on experience with automation utilities, backend scripting languages, webhooks, and structured data analysis sets.
• AI Fluency: Demonstrable capability leveraging LLM tooling stacks responsibly to optimize internal velocity frameworks and synthesize system signals.
• Strong cross-team communication mechanics to align priorities seamlessly spanning enterprise customers, Sales, RevOps, and engineering pods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience mapping workflows inside hospitality, payroll, POS, ERP, or workforce management sectors.
• Familiarity with Salesforce tracking configurations, Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, or RevOps partnership models.
• Ecosystem familiarity with Restaurant365 platform dependencies is strongly preferred.
