Position Overview

We are seeking a technically deep Financial Data Systems Specialist to support a high-signal enterprise client operating within the premium banking sector. In this database-heavy technical track, you will be responsible for designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining the underlying data architecture and financial reporting data warehouses. Moving beyond simple analytics, you will ensure the flawless execution of daily and monthly batch process launches, engineer scalable data archiving strategies, and drive advanced SQL query performance tuning to protect long-term financial data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Warehouse Batch Operations: Own and govern the successful scheduling, monitoring, and execution of high-volume daily and monthly process launches within core financial reporting repositories.
• Performance Engineering & Tuning: Perform comprehensive optimization on complex SQL queries, managing execution plans, data engine indexes, and physical schema modifications under stress.
• Scalable Archiving Infrastructure: Design, test, and implement robust database archiving strategies to reduce production storage strain while guaranteeing backward data integrity and compliance tracking.
• Software Release Coordination: Plan, align, and coordinate financial reporting system software releases across development, staging, and live banking environments.
• Complex System Troubleshooting: Root-cause complex transactional processing bottlenecks, pipeline synchronization failures, and integration issues across cross-functional infrastructure units.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven professional history operating as a Data Systems Specialist, Database Administrator, or Data Engineer inside high-stakes enterprise or banking ecosystems.
• Advanced, production-grade technical mastery of relational SQL databases, with an explicit emphasis on schema design, query tuning, and index optimization.
• Deep structural understanding of asynchronous enterprise data processing workflows, ETL/ELT pipelines, and operational ledger tracking.
• Demonstrated capacity to coordinate technical software release patterns calmly within structured Agile frameworks.
• Outstanding analytical problem-solving mechanics paired with a meticulous attention to minor data discrepancies.
• Language Fluency: Complete business-level written and spoken English proficiency.
• Location Context: Flexible hybrid or remote-first workspace infrastructure model open exclusively to qualified technical leads permanently based inside Poland.

• Prior technical exposure to custom reporting infrastructures, core banking systems, or financial audit tools.
