Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical, growth-oriented Field Marketing Manager to play a foundational role in building organic awareness, community adoption, and enterprise consideration of our database solutions throughout China. In this highly autonomous regional marketing seat, you will serve as the primary bridge connecting ClickHouse’s core product value with local developer communities and enterprise buying cells. Day to day, you will partner directly with Sales units to accelerate pipeline velocity, orchestrate high-leverage virtual and in-person field programs, and manage community meetups. This track demands a seasoned B2B SaaS marketer who can run complex event lifecycles and translate abstract demand-generation goals into high-impact field experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- GTM Field Program Execution: Design, execute, and anchor integrated regional events and tactical campaigns that support immediate pipeline generation and long-term market presence in China.
- Event Lifecycle Governance: Manage the absolute event lifecycle end-to-end—holding direct accountability for vendor contract negotiation, budget plotting, logistical streams, and on-the-ground operational execution.
- Community Engagement Operations: Grow, guide, and energize our local user networks by planning interactive tech meetups, developer forums, and focused user groups.
- Cross-Functional Campaign Syncing: Partner tightly alongside internal Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Sales, and Developer Advocacy clusters to craft promotional strategies that ensure high event attendance.
- Joint Partner Marketing: Collaborate with external third-party companies and global platform providers to co-host localized webinars, trade show exhibits, and shared marketing initiatives.
- Performance Telemetry & Analytics: Track, review, and evaluate the analytical performance of every field program, translating campaign analytics data into clear strategies to continuously maximize lead acquisition.
- Logistics Infrastructure Coordination: Manage all transport and layout components for regional events, safeguarding booth properties, equipment tracking, and marketing collateral delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of verified professional history running field marketing, event management, or regional growth programs inside the **B2B SaaS or enterprise software sector**.
- Deep operational familiarity and a proven execution tracking history operating directly within the **Chinese enterprise technology market**.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating closely alongside enterprise Sales divisions to unify brand messaging, target tiers, and lead-nurturing protocols.
- Excellent project management, corporate negotiation, and event organization capabilities spanning both small-scale meetups and major enterprise conferences.
- Strong data literacy and analytical skills, with a proven ability to measure, interpret, and report on campaign return on investment (ROI).
- Location Context: Flexible remote parameters tailored for qualified marketing leaders located permanently within Shanghai or Beijing, China.
- Travel Parameters: Absolute readiness and personal availability to **travel more than 40% of the time** across regional patches to anchor on-site campaigns.

- Prior experience running field marketing pipelines within the specialized database, real-time analytics, or big data infrastructure spaces.
