Enterprise Account Executive (Federal / Public Sector)

Asana, a leading platform for human + AI collaboration, is looking for a driven Enterprise Account Executive to join their Vertical Go-to-Market team. This role focuses specifically on Federal customers, responsible for "landing and expanding" business within the public sector book of business. You will help build out Asana’s education and public sector GTM strategy overall.

Key Responsibilities

• Deal Closing: Drive revenue and grow businesses by leveraging negotiation skills and data-driven insights to secure win-win partnerships.
• Federal Strategy: Shape the direction of the go-to-market strategy and execution for the Federal region.
• Relationship Building: Serve as a trusted advisor with excellent relationship-building skills, ranging from C-level executives to end-users.
• Complex Navigation: Masterfully navigate complex account landscapes (Government) and anticipate roadblocks with foresight.
• Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with SDRs, Field Marketing, and Customer Success teams to drive long-term success.

Requirements

• Sales Experience: 8+ years of experience closing business, with at least 4+ years selling directly into the Enterprise segment.
• Federal Focus: Proven experience closing deals and building strategic relationships within federal verticals is mandatory.
• SaaS Background: A proven ability to close deals with high quota attainment within the Enterprise SaaS space.
• Tech Curiosity: Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity.
• Action Oriented: Excel at cultivating trust and fostering long-term partnerships with a bias toward action.

Location & Work Model

• DC Metro: Fully Remote allowed.
• NY / Chicago: Office-centric Hybrid schedule (Standard in-office days are Mon, Tue, Thu).
