English Voice Over Actor (Voice Analyst/Coach)

We are looking for an English Voice Coach to join our customer's team, where your expertise in vocal delivery will help shape the quality of voice annotation and analysis. You will evaluate short audio clips, unlocking insights into vocal technique, emotional nuance, and expressiveness. This remote position is ideal for someone passionate about advancing voice technology through sharp analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Audio Analysis: Analyze and annotate short audio recordings, focusing on tone, pitch, timbre, and clarity.
• Emotional Assessment: Assess speakers’ use of emotion, personality, and intent through both verbal and non-verbal vocal cues.
• Technical Evaluation: Evaluate technical aspects of voice production, including articulation, breath control, and expressiveness.
• Feedback Delivery: Provide comprehensive, written feedback on vocal performance and technique.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members to refine annotation guidelines and improve analytical processes.

Requirements

• Background: Expertise in vocal techniques, ideally with experience as a voice-over artist, voice coach, or music teacher.
• Domain Knowledge: Background in speech analysis, linguistics, phonetics, or a related field.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to identify subtle differences in vocal quality and delivery.
• Language Proficiency: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (C1–C2 proficiency).
• Availability: Must commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week with flexibility to work Monday through Sunday.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience annotating or analyzing audio in a professional or research context.
• Familiarity with non-verbal vocal cues and their impact on communication.
