Job Description

About the Role: As Director, Teamship District Partnerships, you will lead the charge to bring Teamship to students across your region. You will operate with significant ownership, managing district and school partnerships across a defined U.S. region and set of priority focus states. You will oversee the full lifecycle from prospecting to renewal and expansion. This is not a transactional sales role; you will build markets, shape state strategy, and partner directly with district leaders to reimagine how students experience career-connected learning.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Teamship's growth strategy for selected target states, operating with full ownership of market development, pipeline health, and revenue outcomes.
  • Manage inbound Teamship interest and secure new district and school partnerships to expand adoption.
  • Manage and grow a healthy sales pipeline using Salesforce.
  • Lead high-stakes discovery conversations with district decision-makers, positioning Teamship as a strategic solution.
  • Tailor templates and facilitate info sessions for decision-makers and teachers to convert prospects.
  • Serve as the executive relationship lead for Teamship district partners, building long-term trust with senior leaders.
  • Lead structured partnership reviews and proactively uncover expansion pathways within existing districts.
  • Anticipate renewal risks early and take decisive action to protect and expand long-term partnerships.
  • Travel up to 30% for conferences, district meetings, and partner engagements.

What You Bring

  • 5-10 years of experience in school district leadership or educational sales.
  • Demonstrated credibility within Career and Technical Education (CTE), work-based learning, or district-level partnership ecosystems.
  • Established relationships with district leaders, CTE directors, or workforce development leaders strongly preferred.
  • A track record of influencing senior district leaders and comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate complex ideas into compelling value propositions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30 percent for conferences and on-site partner meetings.
  • Bonus: Experience building and managing a disciplined sales pipeline from prospecting through renewal.

Benefits

  • Hiring range: $80,000 - $130,000 USD/year (adjusted by location).
  • A meaningful career and a supportive team in a self-sustaining nonprofit.
  • Comprehensive benefits package designed to help you thrive.
  • Fair and competitive compensation grounded in your qualifications and market data.

Safety First

  • Never pay for a job application.
  • Do not share sensitive bank info.
  • Verify the client before starting work.
